Pre Birthday Celebration - Blue-ish KTV session

Was supposed to meet up wif my dearie frenz to DblO to pre-celebrate birthday yesterday, but some ex-colleagues couldn't make it in the last minute therefore I have fewer guests & as few dearies are worried abt the H1N1 virus outbreak (especially recent case that happened in Butter Factory), I decided to switch my blue-ish cubbing party to a Ktv session instead :)

After seeking opinions frm some dearies & my last min researches online, I have decided on Top One Ktv located at Bugis.

Lynn ger came wif her lil godson Athen to look for me in the evening, as she was not feeling well, she decided to meet me for a simple instead, I was persuading her to join & eventually she did!Morever, she stays throughout!Hehehe...

I reali have to say a BIG thank you to Leon too, he skipped his work to attend my bday party...oopz...Shhhhhh :P

Also would like to thank Qi who attended my celebration though she is veri sick...*cough, cough* :X

Thankz Richel for carrying the gigantic pressie shared wif the rest of the babes, all e way to attend my Ktv session & also his lovely lilies they were sweet scented! :)

Appreciates Agnes & Serene's time off frm their busi work/ember :P schedule to join us!

Thanks Xeno for keeping his promise to appear at the "promised land" & his sweet pressie! :D

Last but not least, xiexie August xiao di for his thoughtful bday gift + souvenirs & my "ah po tie dansssss" frm Taiwan!!

I truely enjoyed our first Ktv session with my dearie babes & also glad that my dearies made my birthday celebration filled with so muchz fun & laughters. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY DEARIES!! *muacks* :P

Past few days been busi...

20/06/09 (Saturday)
Was busy with some last minute customers & after wk rushed home to finish the emcee speech for Benson & Michelle's wedding on the following day. Slept at 3am in the morning :(

21/06/09 (Sunday)
Finally its my dearest guy frene's Benson big day, my shop was opened till 4pm on Sunday as I need to rush back to prepare to attend his banquet at nite as well as emceeing for him. No business for the day as I only opened for few hrs...LOL...

Went back home to bathe & makeup, I know myself too well that I am veri good at "dragging time" so have bao my ang bao & packed up my clutch bag wif all the necessities the nite before, which also includes my emcee speeches.

Supposed to meet Richel at the Furama Riverfront hotel at 6.45pm & I was on time but he was late again!I purposely took cab down wif hb & while waiting we snapped a few self pics :)....I was getting gan chiong while waiting for him to reach...palms gets cold....sweating...I am nervous 'cos the last time I emcee-ed was abt one & a half year ago liao...during Serene & Ken's wedding...I am getting stage fright levelled up up up again... :X

Finally when Richel was here, we headed straight to the ballroom to know the sequence of the nite's events then followed by countless of amendments, 'cos Richel have so many "new ideas" that I we have to change 3/4 of the speech but mostly on my part cos he is a pro, can even talk w/o speech loh!B'cos of all these last min changes to my speech, I got super nervous that I will say the wrong thing or mix up the sequence, ended we were the first 3 guests to settle down in the ballroom to "rehearse" our speeches before others comes in...haha...

I was complaining throughout the nite...haha bitching Richel for making me amending so much of my speech & make me even more gan chiong...then I even "swear" that I will never ever going to host a 3rd wedding again....whole nite I was in great "panic mode"LOL...

Finally, the hostings went thru pretty smoothly though but I was so gan chiong that I forgot to take pics until the end of the dinner, we quickly snapped a few pics before heading off for cab!!

Woke up earlier than usual cos aircon servicemen came to check the aircons...aftertat went to market for breakfast then went back hm to nap cos joining some of my ex-colleagues for steamboat at nite after they off work :)

Went back to Raffles City Anthro with sis to wait for them to knock off & was like 2"sua kus", browsing the store to explore all the new stuffs, it have been almost half a year since we quit, alot of stuffs are "fresh" to us...headed to our usual hang out at Bugis for steamboat dinner cum supper. I would also strongly recommend this particular restaurant call "Zhong Hua Huo Guo", they have free flow drinks & good handmade dumplings there :P check them out!!I will leave the pics to tell u the rest ba... :)

Was off ytd, went to Bugis wif Mummy & lil Jovial to meet aunty & my cousy wif their kids to pray at the guan im temple then went for a simple vegetarian lunch but the ramen was reali tasteless... :( *shake head*, the soup base sucks!!

Aftertat, they headed to hospital to visit 1 of my cousy's FIL cos he was hospitalised recently, think situation critic too...as for us, we went walk around & head to CWP after back to Wdl, then back home to do my stuffs...alot of stuffs...looking for my thumbdrive with my emcee speech soft copies inside BUT I jus cant find it!! :( onli managed to find the hard copy...meaning I prob got to retype the whoe script again....wo de tian ahzzz...!!!

Seems everything when missing when I wants to find them!Tat's always the case!I reali need my dear thumbdrive cos all files are in there!!

This upcoming Sunday will be 1 of my dearest frenz Benson's wedding!I am invited to be his emcee & this time going to partner wif Richel again...cos I highly recommended him!LOL cos he is professional & I am jus a "kalefare"....at least wif him ard, I dun haf to worry abt being on the stage, anything he will "resolve"for me...LOL...

Now the problem is....I tried countless of dresses last nite before slp...LOL...but I jus couldnt seems to find the right one!Cos I am the emcee...cannot anyhow wear....mummy & sis was laughing at me, said I open lil boutique yet cannot find anything I can wear for the wedding?:(

Whenever I put on a new dress, hb will say, this 1 okay ah, that 1 okay lah...no one can gif me a good answer!

Think I will still need to think wat to wear again tonite!

Today was busi sourcing wedding songs for Benson' wife, hopes those songs helps :P

Shop is quiet today & I am preparing to go hm now....Hopes I can resolve the "dress issue" soon...HAHAHAHA...

Hey its Daddy's Day!

Today is a good day :) LOL...sweet customers always brighten up my day!!

Its Daddy's Day today but seems super quiet leh, no one celebrates Daddy' Day???

Last nite, after work I buzzed sis to remind her abt Daddy's day then I suggested cake surpise again!Her reply was like: "Huh?AGAIN?"

I told her it was getting late leh, if we dun decide fast, later we can't get anything pressie ah..we cant celebrate today cos sis wont be ard...think she haf an appointment today!

So ended up she went to get a cheesy mango cake frm Polar again...then I headed straight to CWP wif hb after wk to see if I can get a last min gift anot, wanted to get a watch, but the moment I stepped onto the escalator, it closed!WTH!!

Then called sis then I am gng to Metro mens department, then before she reaches, I was looking at some wallets which I think might make good & practical pressie so when she came, we quickly decided on which wallet to get & paid up...haha everything just in time before they closed including gift wrapped by their wrapping counter :P

Went back home and sneakily lighted the candle on the cake before "presenting" the cake to dad!Haha guessed wat?He was sleeping liao!LOLzz....its was a REAL surpise cos he oradi went to meet "Zhou gong" liao!!Anyway, he woke up & blew the candle + cut cake then eat cake...& happily opened up his pressie...too bad lil jovial is asleep liao...If not she will definitely sings her "Happy Birthday" song & blow off the candle before anyone else!She simply love cakes!!

Hopes dad appreciates our efforts....while celebrating, I tot of my poor granddad, he is now bed-ridden...hopes he get well real soon & wishes him good health & happiness!

Virgin trip to Singapore Turf Club :P

I am off today as need to some settle some impt stuffs this afternoon, after settling all my stuffs wif hb, went back home in the earli evening as planned to go Singapore Turf Club today as they have some carnival going go there so decided to bring mummy & lil jovial to have some fun there! :)

STC is like 10mins bus journey away frm my place...super near!When we were there, it's oreadi 7plus, where the carnival starts at 5pm...anyway, there are still crowds strolling in at tat time...the place was "huge", there are so mani "betting counters" there!~

There were some kids games happening around but lil jovial is too young to participate, so we brought her to see lil pony...she was excited :P there were bicycle & motorbike performances & some dancing/singing programmes up on the stage...

Looney tunes characters Tweety & Bunny mascots were there too, but lil jovial was terrified by them...cos they seems "gigantic" to her...LOL...She was trying to keep distances away frm them while the rest of the kids are squeezing their way forward to catch glimpses of the cuties...haha..

Mediacorp artiste Felicia Chin was there too, for a short "prize presentation ceremony"...all I can say is she is "skinny" but pretti...she onli appears for like a good 10mins onli... :)

There were some food & games stalls but nothing seems more interesting than the horse racing trial runs!The live telecast on the screen was veri heart throbbing!!Though it was not the actual race but a trial, it was a spectulating performance on the race course...Cool!!Enjoy the horse racing veri muchzz...it was reali an eye opening trip for me to feel the actual atmosphere of "horse racing"... :P

Went back at ard 9plus & we were all sweaty & tired in this super hot weather the huge crowds!Though I am still sickly & sneezin away but all of us enjoy this virgin trip to STC, hopes they have some other interesting carnivals like tonite!
